I'm known online as Hyde or Hydeii but outside I'm known as Kay! In the Writing Corner, I'll be posting articles about various topics because, well, I enjoy A LOT of different activities and would like to help others enjoy them also!

Article Topics

Books

Reading is a passion of mine but there are a lot of recommendations out there.

I give my honest and thorough review of books that I, myself, have actually read. I'll cover the good, bad, and why for each and leave the decision to read it up to you.

Crafts

I admit I am guilty of being a serial crafter. If I am proficient in a technique or topic I will share my knowledge on it, in hopes of helping others.

I'll be posting: beginner guides, techniques, supplies, projects/ How-To's.

Deals

Who doesn't love deals?

I'll be sharing game deals, Humble Bundles (affiliate links- I earn a commission on these), and any other deals I come across!

Gaming

I play games in almost every genre but mainly enjoy Horror, simulations, and RPGs.

I'll be doing guides for games, and reviews of new games. I can not promise builds or things in that area as I'm not proficient with those things and find them rather complicated for my derpy brain.

Mental Health

Mental health is a huge thing for me!

As someone who has struggled with it for a long time, I'm very passionate about it.

Here I'll cover techniques I've learned and use, positivity, and anything else that applies.

Streaming

I have been streaming for about 3 years, and it's an amazing experience. I will be doing setup basics. You can purchase my overlays and I'll also show you how to make your own, as well as panels, alerts, and emotes. I'll also cover, stream etiquette, and how to set up a Discord server.

TTRPGs

I'm a nerd and proud! I've gotten into D&D and Warhammer recently and it's like heaven.

I'll be sharing, with the party's permission, podcasts (transcribed & audio) of our sessions. I plan on expanding into homebrew and sharing my ideas for others to incorporate into their campaigns. Maps will also be coming, and hopefully VTT ones. Guides on getting started, miniature painting and display tips (these won't come for some time, I'm still very new in miniature painting), eventually 3D printing miniatures and STL files will be available.

Writing

I am a writer by nature, it's always been my safe haven.

I'll share poems, short stories, and sneak peeks at works in progress.

Other

Any other topics I eventually cover that don't happen to all under the above categories will be here. This can be opinion pieces on anything I feel strongly about.

So many topics to cover and I'll be covering each within my ability. The last thing I want to do is spread misinformation, so I will do my best to research each before posting anything.

I know some people may have feelings about the words buy or subscribe but those things are optional!
